THE SHANI PROJECT

My main goal is to assist my clients with living the life that they live in their dreams.  I like to start by assisting clients with becoming aware of their beliefs and values.  At that point we can do the work together to assist them with having whatever they desire out of life.

 I am Aleeza P, dope Black therapist and proud owner of Safe Haven Wellness Center. Sometimes, we need someone who has been in the mud to help us dig our way out. So come on…I got you. 

I approach every session from a curious, non-judgmental, and supportive stance to collaborate with my clients and their families to identify and build their strengths. Seeking support can be overwhelming and I'm glad you have made the first step in your journey.

I am a patient, attentive human, fueled by deep curiosity and compassion ready to walk with you through whatever stage of life you are in. Through my own self work in therapy, education, and life experiences, I have learned that we are all on our very own unique journey towards tending to parts of us that have been mistreated or left behind by hurtful past experiences.

As we move throughout our lives, there are instances in which we find ourselves experiencing feelings that can be hard to describe let alone understand. Learning how to cope with or eliminate these feelings altogether is a daunting task but with the right effort and determination, the goal is attainable.​

Working collaboratively with you, we will explore specific concerns, process barriers, and exercise personalized therapeutic modalities that will best accommodate your goals. My goal is not only to better assist you, but to highlight self awareness, provide effective coping techniques, and help navigate through your challenges and emotional needs.

I will cater your therapeutic experience to fit your specific needs while building a strong and genuine relationship that fosters growth, support and clarity. We will explore the issues at hand and develop skills to manage these challenges and help establish or define your identity.
